About

Margy 2013Margy Pezdirtz has been a leader in the Christian Zionist movement for over twenty-five years. She has diligently worked as an activist in the church and community to increase awareness of Israel, to teach on Judeo-Christian relationships, and to promote the cause of Israel in whatever manner deemed necessary. It is her firm belief that in order to make a difference in the church, and the world, for the cause of Israel, a solid network of like-minded people has to be established at the grass roots level.

Born a third generation Oklahoman, the granddaughter of pioneers who were the first to break the sod on their homestead in Grant County, she learned early on the significance of establishing a foundation toward building a future. As the daughter of a farmer, she spent many of her youthful hours on a tractor ploughing and getting her suntan as she dreamed of the future but never imagined that she would one day travel internationally. Coming from a family of farmers she was taught self-reliance and the value of standing strong during the wildest of storms and hard times. She believes the lessons learned from her farm family taught her the values and determination that is necessary to establish her support for Israel and her settlers.

An award winning author and novelist, Mrs. Pezdirtz writes on Biblical issues and characters all with the thought of increasing in others the desire to read and study the Bible. She is an avid student of the Bible and loves sharing her insight with others.

Mrs. Pezdirtz feels she has been privileged to live in many areas of the United States, and has always been involved in community activities, wherever she lived. She has been active in the Oklahoma Republican Party, served as a Board Member of the Kansas Foster Parents Association, served as a Guardian ad Litem in the Vermont Court System, was an elected Justice of the Peace and has been a prolific writer for several newspapers. In addition, she and her husband, David, owned their own real estate investment business where they focused on improving housing for their tenants as well as reaching their community for Israel.

Mrs. Pezdirtz has traveled to Israel in excess of twenty-five times since 1984, including living and working in the Land. Just prior to the beginning of the Iraqi War in 2003, the Pezdirtz’ felt the call of God upon their lives to establish and maintain a second home in Jerusalem, Israel, where they spent six months a year as ‘lovers of Israel,’ reaching out to their Jewish brothers and sisters with a hand of love extended.

She has been actively involved in the furthering of several Israel focused ministries, including Unity Coalition for Israel (UCI), based in Kansas City; International Christian Embassy – Jerusalem, (ICEJ) Jerusalem, Israel; and, her own ministry, Comforters of Israel. Additionally, she serves as a Board Member of Christian Friends of Israeli Communities. She is also very involved in several organizations with the goal of returning the United States to a solid base and, once again, a friend of Israel.

Mrs. Pezdirtz is a graduate of Hutchinson College, has six grown children and eleven grandchildren. She lives in Oklahoma City in the home she and her husband established and shared until his passing in 2007. She pastors a small congregation, teaches on Israel and enjoys her family and friends.

How blessed I am to read this article and be amazed that I never knew how many blessings G-d had bestowed upon Margy Pezdirtz . I have been blessed to be in Israel with her, and never knew any of these wonderful annointings G-d had/has bestowed upon my friend. How wonderful that she is a humble servant of the L-rd G-d Almighty. It is a testimony that when we stay humble in G-d’s sight, He will display His glory to others that has been used in us at the exact timing of His perfect time. I praise G-d that He has such a devoted servant and supporter of His chosen little country, Israel…that will remain “BIG” to Him into all eternity, as the Messiah will even be returning there.
Thank You, G-d, for Your servant, Margy. Please continue to use and bless Her in these days of revelation.
